Each court reporter or designative firm representative shall complete 15 hours of continuing education per reporting period. At least 2 of these credits must include a review of the statutes, regulations and court rules governing the practice of court reporting in the state of Nevada.
Note: The Board will consider the following programs to earn continuing education credits on the subject matter of Nevada law; NVCRA 2008 Convention seminar on court reporting rules and regulations, court reporting seminars presented at CLE seminars and volunteers who support the certification exams. A home study oronline course option is being researched and may be available at a later date. However, no such options are currently available.
